Definition:
This market package provides the communications and roadside equipment to support dynamic lane control signals on I-66. The instrumentation identified in the Network Surveillance Market Package is incorporated to support freeway monitoring. This market package also represents the VDOT NOVA STC capability to utilize surveillance information for detection of incidents along the freeway system to aid in determining what strategies should be implemented to accommodate the situation.
